Meditech Lab Systems Analyst
Ready to take on a Meditech 6.0 implementation?
Our client is a hospital organization that will begin a full Meditech 6.0 implementation shortly. This is not a migration effort - this project is a new build initiative that will involve workflow redesign efforts. This is a tremendous opportunity where you can play a significant role in helping a hospital launch their new EMR application!
Since the build effort will be the primary focus, each candidate must have a strong background not only in the module, but also with the processes involved in each module. For the lab module, data will be cross mapped and tested with Meditech and the lab application. This person will help ensure that orders are verified and posted back into both the lab system and Meditech.
To be considered, you should possess a high level of knowledge as a lab systems analyst, and have a thorough understanding of the Meditech Lab module. Since you’ll be working closely with the end user community, your knowledge of lab processes will be critical in your success. Sunquest experience would be a big plus. You must also possess a four year degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Meditech 6.0 implementation experience is not required, but is highly desired. If you do not have 6.0 experience, you will have the opportunity to be trained in this latest version.
