Title: Technical Application Specialist (TAS) - US

iMDsoft’s world class professional services team is responsible for implementing and delivering successful projects to our client base in the US market. We work collaboratively with many iMDsoft departments including clinical teams, project management and sales. We are responsible for the technical installation, training, and support of software implementation projects at client sites. This person will play a dynamic role in the integration and implementation of MetaVision products to hospitals. Due to the rapidly growing nature of our business, we need someone who will work hard, learn quickly, and be a self-starter. Among those attributes, you are a natural leader with strong written and verbal communication skills, a customer-centric attitude and a strong desire to succeed.

Responsibilities:                                                                             

• Serve as an expert for the iMDsoft product line, specifically on MetaVision Suite.

• Travel to hospitals to conduct onsite visits and work with IT/IS representatives to integrate iMDsoft products in the hospital environment.

• Software installation and configuration of the MetaVision Suite to communicate with existing hospital information and communication systems as well as medical devices.

• Support software go-live within the Intensive Care Units and Operating Rooms

• Travel required

Experience/Requirements:
• B.A.or B.S. degree
• 3-5 years of professional work experience preferred
• Ability to learn new products and technology quickly
• Experience with project management or within the healthcare industry is a plus
• Experience working with the following network protocols - TCP/IP, DNS, etc.
• Experience working with Windows 2000/XP, Windows 2000 Server and Windows Server 2003, SQL 2000/ SQL 2005 Server, Microsoft Office
• Experience working with backup software and firewalls
• Experience troubleshooting and providing desktop support to non-technical users of Microsoft Office and other business applications
• Firewall/VPN experience
• Understanding of RS232 and HL7 Protocols is a plus
