HIM Supervisor – Record Integrity
Position Summary:
Supervises the functions of the various areas of Health Information Management to ensure patient information is accurate and available in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Must be able to demonstrate time management and organizational skills. . Must pass an Alpha/Numeric Filing test with a minimum score of 80%, Customer Service test with a minimum score of 80%, and Pseudo-Isochromatic Plates test (color vision test) as established by Human Resources. Must be able to demonstrate oral and written communication skills. Must have knowledge of computer systems and both database and word processing software. Must demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology.
Required Skills:
Education & Experience:
Must have seven years of Health Information Management experience to include two years supervisory experience; or, equivalent combination of education and experience. RHIT/RHIA certifications are strongly preferred.
