Meditech Pharmacy Analyst

Ready to take on a Meditech 6.0 implementation?

Our client is a hospital organization that will begin a full Meditech 6.0 implementation shortly.  This is not a migration effort - this project is a new build initiative that will involve workflow redesign efforts.  This is a tremendous opportunity where you can play a significant role in helping a hospital launch their new EMR application!

Since the build effort will be the primary focus, each candidate must have a strong background not only in the module, but also with the processes involved in each module.  The Pharmacy Analyst will work with the department to optimize the module’s workload management, help ensure ease of accessible clinical information, minimize charge adjustments and help with inventory control.  

To be considered for this role, you should have an established track record of working within the Pharmacy module, and be comfortable working with pharmacists and suggesting changes that will help them use their time more efficiently.   You must also possess a four year degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Meditech 6.0 implementation experience is not required, but you must have had experience as a hospital pharmacist to be considered.  If you do not have 6.0 experience, you will have the opportunity to be trained in this latest version.
