Meditech Nursing PCS (Patient Care Services) Analyst

Ready to take on a Meditech 6.0 implementation?

Our client is a hospital organization that will begin a full Meditech 6.0 implementation shortly.  This is not a migration effort - this project is a new build initiative that will involve workflow redesign efforts.  This is a tremendous opportunity where you can play a significant role in helping a hospital launch their new EMR application!

Since the build effort will be the primary focus, each candidate must have a strong background not only in the module, but also with the processes involved in each module.  The PCS analyst will work with the end users of the module to create worklists, assessments, patient assignment and identification lists.  They will also work to enable users to print patient profiles, summaries and audit and variance reports.  

To be considered, you should have a strong background with the PCS module, and be adept at communicating with the end users to build requirements and make suggestions where workflow changes are needed.  You should also be comfortable working with the PCS dictionaries which automate the patient care management.   You must also possess a four year degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Meditech 6.0 implementation experience is not required, but is highly desired.  If you do not have 6.0 experience, you will have the opportunity to be trained in this latest version.
