Ready to take on a Meditech 6.0 implementation?

Our client is a hospital organization that will begin a full Meditech 6.0 implementation shortly.  This is not a migration effort - this project is a new build initiative that will involve workflow redesign efforts.  This is a tremendous opportunity where you can play a significant role in helping a hospital launch their new EMR application!

Since the build effort will be the primary focus, each candidate must have a strong background not only in the module, but also with the processes involved in each module.  The EDM module implementation will require someone very familiar with the emergency department processes including interaction with admitting and ancillary services.  

To be considered, you should have an expert level knowledge base of the EDM module, and be very comfortable working with the end users to build requirements and make suggestions where workflow changes are needed.  While it’s ideal to find a candidate who has worked as a surgical tech or clinician in the ER, that’s a “nice to have”.   You must also possess a four year degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Meditech 6.0 implementation experience is not required, but is highly desired.  If you do not have 6.0 experience, you will have the opportunity to be trained in this latest version.
