Clarity Report Writer (Resolute) -

The responsibilities of this position will be:

·    Coordinate the development of operational and analytical reports for the enterprise in the course of the Epic revenue cycle and core clinical projects.

·    Ensure that all reports are developed using established CSMC standards and architecture based on business requirements and/or design documents.

·    Function as a member of a multi-disciplinary and multi-departmental team that develops technical policies, procedures, and documentation, performs report design, creation, and maintenance, and configures vendor software and reporting environments.

·    Also function as a technical resource, escalating issues and problems as necessary to management and/or vendor.

The ideal consultant will meet and/or exceed the following requirements:

• A minimum of ten years of experience in the IT industry with recent development, application tuning and debugging experience with Epic Clarity
• Extensive Knowledge of Crystal Reports
• Demonstrated understanding of healthcare applications as well as the needs and priorities of patient care providers.
• Thorough understanding of reporting concepts
• Familiarity with functionality of EPIC applications
• Critical thinking skills to assess reporting needs, and determine the appropriate course of action to meet those needs
• Experience assisting others with report writing, and explaining reports to report consumers
• Aptitude to learn data models in depth, and to determine data structures/additions (views, distribution methods, intermediate tales) that would benefit the reporting environment as a whole
• Self-motivated, creative, highly organized, with proven ability to guide a team to meet deadlines, prioritize team workload, and manage own and team’s time effectively.
