Our renowned hospital client in Los Angeles is seeking an experience Lead Cardiology Application Specialist to provide implementation and ongoing support / maintenance for their cardiovascular information system ( CVIS ) and their cardiology PACS system ( C-PACS ). The Lead Cardiology Application Specialist will utilize their existing expertise to help lead the vendor selection / negotiation process as well as the implementation planning and support. The Lead Cardiology Application Specialist will employ project management principles to effectively create, manage and carry out implementation and upgrade plans.

Responsibilities:
· Analyze current cardiology systems and new systems and perform gap analysis
· Evaluate Cardiology PACS system ( C-PACS )
· Help lead implementation of CVIS and C-PACS
· Responsible for Cardiology systems support and maintenance
· Analyze Cardiology workflows
Qualifications:
· Clinical and information systems experience related to Cardiology
· 3+ years of relevant Cardiology information systems experience required
· Experience with GE cardiology systems preferred (Inova 2000, 5000, MAC Lab, Prucka Lab, MUSE, Vericis, PACS Heart Lab
· Experience leading teams preferred
· Background in radiology and cardiology a plus
· Bachelors degree required
· Must live in the Los Angeles area or be able to relocate there with assistance
